Valrine Daley

Valrine Daley uses assessment, leadership development design and learning facilitation to create solutions for individuals, teams and organizations by helping people learn and organizations change. She collaborates with organizational leaders and their talent towards systemic change and root cause problem solving in the interest of greater productivity and increased employee engagement.

Prior to forming her own consulting practice she spent six years with Citigroup. There, she held various roles including managing the organization development and internal coaching practice and serving as a learning and development partner for the Global, Corporate and Investment Bank. She also successfully developed and facilitated the developing talent program for high potential women in Citigroup’s North American Operations and Technology division as well as its Equities, Research and Fixed Income women’s leadership initiatives.  At Columbia University she designed and led its leadership and student service culture change effort for over 10,000 administrators and staff.

As an executive coach, Valrine integrates her knowledge and understanding of the challenges facing today’s leaders to help them move quickly to make critical and lasting changes. She uses a skills-based approach to help them build and leverage the skills and competencies critical to their success. Valrine has successfully designed and delivered programs, conducted OD initiatives and coached in the United States, Europe and South East Asia.

Her work with female professionals in the area of self-promotion and branding received national recognition in O Magazine. She is a highly regarded workforce development consultant, executive coach, and learning facilitator for Fortune 500 and not-for-profit organizations including: Reckitt Benckiser, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Essex Lake Group, Macy’s, the United Nations Development Program, Marsh, Ernst & Young, Novartis, Ford Motor Company, The Financial Women’s Association, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Citigroup, The National Association of Black MBA’s, Junior League and the YMCA of Harlem, NY.
Her current work includes: coaching senior executives and professionals in and through transitional environments. Helping women and emerging talent navigate and understand complex organizations and providing global HR strategy and execution support for an operational analytics service firm.

Valrine is a faculty member of the Duke Global Learning Network, an alumna of Harvard University School of Law Program on Negotiation and has completed graduate work at Teachers College of Columbia University in Adult Learning. She holds a BA from the University of Washington, Seattle in Economics.
