Over the past 15 years Annemarie has coached talented, high potential individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds initially focusing on the financial services industry. 

Following completion of an MSc in Executive coaching, she expanded her coaching practice to encompass clients from other industries, professions and charitable organisations. 

Annemarie has experience of coaching CEOs as well as other C-suite individuals. She also enjoys coaching individuals at inflection points in their careers and also individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Having been coached for a number of years, she has first-hand experience of the power of coaching. Working with her own executive coaches over the years has been highly impactful in enabling her to achieve C-suite and board roles.

Annemarie originally qualified and practised as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand. She has also worked in a consultancy environment and did a stint in the training and organisational development field. She has 30 years’ experience as a successful businessperson most recently operating at the C-suite level of a FTSE100 multinational financial institution. She is also an Independent Non-Executive Director on the board of a well-known FTSE 250 retail company. Annemarie has lived and worked in a number of countries including New Zealand, Thailand, the Philippines and the UK.  She is married with four children ranging in age from 10 to 28.

Annemarie is seen as being a highly effective communicator with excellent powers of intuition with a talent for leading large, diverse and multinational teams. She brings a deep understanding of and empathy for the dynamics of working in complex, culturally diverse, international environments. The most important aspect of coaching for Annemarie is the nature and quality of the relationship that the coach and client build together. She believes at the core of this are mutual trust, respect and confidentiality. She holds a high positive regard for clients and aims to be free from any pre-conceived notions or judgments.
