Over the last 16 years, Dorothee has teamed up with senior executives, middle managers and young leaders, coaching them in managing periods of transition in their careers, or to improve a current situation. Based on a thorough understanding of their roles, business context, organisational challenges and personal potential, she works with them to optimise their impact and achieve of their own goals. Dorothee also trains leaders to be coaches and works with peer groups of leaders, facilitating their interaction so they become a valuable mutual resource.

Dorothee has worked with executives from at least 15 different nationalities across the industries. Next to her private practice she is an associate coach for institutions excelling in leadership development such as the Center for Creative Leadership and INSEAD.

Dorothee combines a solid business background with experience in assessment for development and an organisational psychological perspective. In her earlier career in change management for a global consultancy firm, she redesigned organisational processes along mergers and technological change, and facilitated the implementation of the new processes. She guided career development processes for groups of employees, and worked on increased leadership team efficiency by facilitating outdoor training exercises.

Dorothee supports leaders in clarifying the personal challenges they face in meeting their aspirations, and in embracing those by working from their unique strengths. She encourages alignment of the whole system; the work patterns and relationship networks en/disabled by it and the individual needs. In working with her clients, she favours a balance between individual reflection, external inspiration, and the feedback and support of a peer learning group.
