Louise Sheppard has been coaching clients for 20 years. She views coaching as a process for providing busy executives with vital space to reflect on specific aspects of their work and life, for example, their leadership style, influencing skills, work and non-work needs and career development, in order to be even more successful.  Typical coaching outcomes include raised self confidence, improved relationships with others, greater satisfaction with work-life balance and being able to coach others.

Louise is an accredited coach supervisor and enjoys working with both individuals and groups.  She is currently carrying out research into how coaching organisations can support their coaches through providing stimulating and professional supervision.

She started her career with Unilever Plc, where she held a variety of management roles.  She then joined Coopers & Lybrand as a management consultant advising on people issues.  She left to set up her own business focusing upon leadership development and coaching.
Her coaching clients span various sectors including Finance, Law, Professional Services, Oil & Gas, Academia, Food & Drink, public and not-for-profit sectors. Louise is experienced in coaching executives at all levels.

Louise has a Masters in Professional Coaching.  She carried out research into the issues that senior, professional women bring to coaching and how coaches can best support them.  She is an accredited coaching supervisor with the Bath Consultancy Group.  She has a certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling Skills and is qualified and registered to use Myers Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI), FIRO-B, Hogan inventories (HPI, MPVI and HDS) and various 360 degree feedback instruments.  Her initial degree was in Economics and Politics at Bristol University and she also has a postgraduate diploma in Personnel Management.  Louise has worked on assignments in Europe, Africa and Asia.  She is married, has four children and lives in London.
