Firstly a huge thanks once again to everyone who made it to our Breakfast Meeting on Wednesday at the Mandarin Oriental to launch our 2012 research, ‘Up, Out or Different – The Career Dilemma for U.K. Women’.
It was great to see so many faces present and we’ve had some really positive feedback in the short time since. For today I’m not going to use this space to get into too much of the detail on the research right but it offered some really fascinating insights into the career barriers women are facing and the skills and enablers they are seeking to improve career progression. With over 2500 women taking part it’s a really robust study and we have used the data to help inform our latest executive coaching models for talent progression. We hope that it will provide a great platform to discuss the consistent challenges that feature for women and what it means for their organisation.
We’ve had some great coverage from the media (special thanks here to Helena Morrissey) and I’m delighted to say the eight-page executive summary is now available for everyone to receive. To obtain a copy please just sign up to this blog or contact Vanessa in our office (Vanessa@talking –talent.com).
Really look forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts on the findings and our own conclusions; I’m sure many of you will have views to share!
Best,
Chris
