Marie-Claire Dassen is a senior management consultant and executive coach, both for individuals and teams. She helps organisations, teams and individuals make the best possible fit between (changing) tasks, demands, possibilities and ambitions.
Her work is based on her background in group dynamics, leadership and organisational development and coaching techniques. Her style can be described as practical, personal and confrontational with a twist of humour. She strongly believes that learning and developing is primarily a practical endeavour, which can be enhanced by focussed reflection. Doing and thinking. Approaches and tools she uses are always chosen in relation to the question at hand and on the learning style of the groups and individuals she works with.
At the start of her career, Marie-Claire worked as a translator, journalist, computer programmer and systems analyst. Later she became a manager in public administration. Since 1999 she has been working as a business consultant, trainer and personal coach for varying clients such as international corporations, government agencies, universities, sheltered workplaces, banks, airlines and health care institutions, both in the Netherlands and abroad.
