Claire’s sense of adventure has driven her to constantly challenge her limits in a banking career which spans almost two decades. She has held a variety of regional management roles across compliance, learning & development employee relations and leadership coaching.
Claire was the Lead Coach and Performance Excellence Consultant for Asia Pacific at The Royal Bank of Scotland plc (RBS) responsible for implementing the bank’s global leadership programme in Asia and supporting leaders to develop leadership excellence and build high-performing teams. Prior to this, Claire was Head of Compliance for RBS Hong Kong and has also worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Macquarie Bank, Morgan Stanley and the London Stock Exchange.
No matter who she is working with, her approach is guided by three beliefs: the power of habit; happiness in life leads to success at work, and real change involves discomfort.
Claire is a Certified Coach, a Myers Briggs Type Indicator practitioner, a Workplace Big 5 practitioner, and trained in Cohen Brown Sports Coaching for Business. She has coached and facilitated training for executives at RBS, Standard Chartered Bank, MUFG, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, Schindler, Sasa and Medidata, among other multinational companies.
As a Brit living in Hong Kong with her Korean husband and two, third-culture children, Claire is aware that an ability to understand and shape our habits can allow us to thrive in diverse environments.
