We’re looking for a Client Success Director to lead a portfolio of strategic client accounts, deliver exceptional service and support the continued growth of our client partnerships.

Location: UK-based, remote, with occasional travel for client meetings and in-person team days
Contract: Permanent, full-time. Flexible and part-time working considered.
Reporting to: Global Head of Client Delivery

About the role

As Client Success Director, you’ll take responsibility for the experience, retention and growth of your client portfolio. You’ll combine strategic relationship management with effective programme delivery, ensuring our work meets clients’ needs and demonstrates clear value.

Working closely with Sales, Coaching, Product and other teams, you’ll build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, understand their priorities and identify opportunities to expand our work together.

You’ll also lead and develop a team of Client Success Coordinators and help improve the systems and processes that support exceptional client service.

What you’ll do

Lead strategic client relationships

  • Own and develop a portfolio of strategic client relationships, delivering an exceptional experience that drives retention, impact and account growth.
  • Develop and deliver strategic account plans, deepening relationships and identifying opportunities to achieve agreed growth targets.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, understanding their priorities, challenges and evolving needs.
  • Oversee project planning and programme delivery, working across teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience.
  • Use client insight, data and impact measures to demonstrate value and inform opportunities for future growth.
  • Connect clients’ needs with Talking Talent’s products, expertise and services.

Develop and support your team

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Client Success Coordinators.
  • Set clear expectations and accountability while empowering individuals to perform at their best.
  • Support effective planning, coordination and delivery across client programmes.

Improve how we work

  • Identify opportunities to improve Client Success systems and processes, increasing efficiency, consistency and scalability while maintaining service quality.
  • Lead internal improvement projects, working across teams to turn ideas into practical, sustainable changes.
  • Champion a customer-first approach, using client insight to shape our services and ways of working.

What you’ll bring

  • Significant experience managing and growing complex, strategic client accounts, with a strong track record of retention and commercial growth.
  • Strong account, programme or project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver consistently to a high standard.
  • Proven people leadership experience and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn complex information, client insight and data into clear decisions and actions.
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach, with the resilience and judgement to navigate challenges.
  • A strong understanding of coaching and diversity, equity and inclusion, and the ability to confidently represent Talking Talent’s expertise and services.
  • Curiosity about our clients, our market and the trends shaping their needs.
